Location: Lowestoft
Contract: Ongoing, with potential for permanent placement

Teach is seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive special educational needs school in Lowestoft. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone who is committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of children with additional needs.

The Role:

You will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Managing classroom behaviour in a positive and supportive way
  • Working collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and the SENCO
  • Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress
  • Creating a safe, inclusive and encouraging learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
  • Experience teaching pupils with special educational needs
  • A nurturing, flexible, and creative approach to teaching
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one via Teach
