Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Swaffham)
Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Immediate Start
Location: Swaffham
Contract: Ongoing, with potential for a long-term or permanent role
Teach is working with a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Swaffham that is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time, five days a week.
About the Role:
As a key member of the classroom team, you’ll work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning and development across a range of subjects and activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting individuals and small groups with their learning
- Helping to prepare classroom resources and activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil engagement
- Providing support for pupils with additional needs where required
- Contributing to a warm, welcoming, and safe school environment
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with children (school, childcare or similar settings)
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- A DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one via Teach
- A genuine passion for education and helping children succeed
