Teach Ltd is seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Cambridge. This role involves helping children with special educational needs to access the curriculum and develop their skills in a nurturing environment.
Role Overview:
You will work closely with teachers and SENDCo to provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with a variety of needs, including learning difficulties, communication challenges, and behavioural needs. Your support will be vital in helping pupils engage, learn, and thrive.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children with SEN (formal qualifications desirable but not essential)
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
