Teach Ltd is working with a well-established nursery in Norwich to recruit an experienced and motivated Nursery Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident leader who is passionate about early years education and ready to take the next step in their career.

About the Role:
As Nursery Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and safeguarding. You’ll lead a team of dedicated practitioners, maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, and ensure compliance with Ofsted and EYFS requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the nursery team, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment
  • Leading on curriculum planning and development in line with the EYFS
  • Monitoring and maintaining high standards of care and education
  • Overseeing recruitment, training, and staff development
  • Managing budgets, occupancy, and nursery administration
  • Building strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider community

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable)
  • At least 2 years of leadership or management experience in an early years setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
  • A valid enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
