Teach Ltd is recruiting a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a welcoming school in Bury St Edmunds.
Role Overview:
You will work closely with teachers and SENDCo to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of needs, helping them engage fully in the classroom and achieve their potential. Your role will involve assisting with learning activities, supporting behaviour management, and fostering positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN (formal SEND qualifications desirable but not essential)
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and small groups
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
